Well Hello Again!

rainbowHey all!
Gosh it sure was great to “see” you on on Christmas. We miss you all a lot.  Our friends Jered and Amanda took this picture of John and I when we were driving to the airport.  It was the coolest rainbow and so bright!

Well the apples are off the tree, the ground is sometimes covered in snow and the weather here is up and down and up and down. 20 degrees one day and 50 the next. We’ve had a bunch of snow but most of it is melted now. You know what’s weird is that in the mountain areas about an hour from our house they’ve had over 150 inches of snow this year already! Where we live we don’t get as much snow as them but it’s fun to know that we can drive up to it if we want.

Right now I’m working on a puzzle that is a picture of wolves. Wolves are my favorite animal. Ever. If I get it done I’ll send you a picture of it. I’ve been doing a few pieces every night and I think I’m getting closer to finishing it. I think, if it were possible, I would have a pet wolf. But Uncle John is allergic and I hear that they eat a lot of food and I can’t even imagine what it would be like to clean up after one so I’ll just leave it as a dream of mine. There are a couple Wildlife Sanctuaries in Colorado that have wolves so maybe I’ll go visit one of them someday. That would be cool.

Tomorrow Uncle John has off work so he’ll sleep in and then go to Chipotle for lunch. Then he usually runs errands and does some chores. I have to go to work so I should be going to bed soon.
I hope it warms up there and you get to play outside soon!

Wow that rainbow looks really cool and the temp going up and down and what not. It would be wonderful if we had 50 degrees here in Minnesota. There is probably about one foot deep of snow here and I would like it if we got another foot of snow but I just don’t know. Well that is all I got for you now.

    Love Grace

Do you like to play in the snow? I love being in the snow. We go hiking in it sometimes and I’d love to go sledding in it too! The lakes don’t freeze over here like they do in MN. I wish they did because I would love to go ice skating on them.
The freezing cold is something I don’t like as much. My hands and feet are always about the temperature of ice. It’s kind of surprising how cold they are sometimes!
