Hey Everyone!
Well golly it’s been a warm winter here. The last couple of days have been in the 70’s. Eeesh! It’s just too warm for winter. My tulips bulbs are all confused and are growing out of the ground even though it’s till supposed to be winter! I hope they can survive until they are supposed to bloom.
Yesterday, John and I went on a walk/hike near our home. It was a pretty windy day and as we were hiking to the top of this mountain (it’s called South Table Mountain and it’s about 3/4’s of a mile up and then it’s completely flat on the top) we suspected that it would be windy on top. Holy Moly! It was so windy we couldn’t even talk and sometimes the wind was almost pushing us over. We were struggling to move forward so after a short time up there we turned around and came back down. It was so weird!
Last Tuesday we went snowboarding and had a blast! It’s so pretty in the mountains. It was really cold at the top but kinda warm at the bottom so we’d ride the chairlift up and our faces would hurt from the cold. Then we’d snowboard down and when we got to the bottom we were practically sweating!
